Garbo
£36! how can they do it? May have to wait for it to arrive here. Could make a good glider tug for small gliders. **LINK**
Concorde Speedbird
That is very cheap! Wonder what the quality is like. I would personally choose a Wot 4 over it any day or for a trainer the Uno Wot, but you could get 2 of those for the price of a Wot 4! Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
This is exactly what I am after a cheap simple box and wing that I can practice landings and dead stick with, when will they be available here? dont really want to order one from the US
Garbo
No idea, I'll keep a lookout.
Radge
They normally inflate the UK price to cover shipping, so if it does arrive at Lucky Stuff it'll probably be about £50 to £60 ish.
Tony Bennett
cant build them for any less than that.
Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
£60 still a bargain as tony said you cant build em for that
Ben B
£60 isn't that amazing, you can get a Arising star for about that... Looks quite a nice plane though in a slightly ugly way, nicely undercambered wing, probably flies slower than an arising star...
Alan Cantwell
Ben, are you looking at the wing tongue with the undercambered thing? it looks symetrical to me, i can imagine trying to patch that covering up if it gets damaged!!!! Garbo
Thanks Radge, bored to death in a hotel room. Picked 5 random planes that are sold from HK and here and compared the prices. The biggest differation was 22% the lowest 12%. The mean differentiation was 16%. That would give a price circa £40.50 and shipping about £8.00. But don't let facts get in the way of a good story
Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
erm £60 for any balsa/ply constructed plane at 60" span is pretty much a bargain, try buying the wood for that let alone all the fittings that come with them. Plus the added apeal for me is the fact its ugly, its not a plane i'm gonna be worrying about making a mistake with but its not a trainer! no dihedral, under cambered wings, pretty much wot 4 style (except the undercamber) its a sports trainer, or to me a throw around hack, and at 2.1kgs AUW its heavier than my sebart shark which weighs about the same as a feather and is useless in any wind stronger than a ducks flatulance
Alan Cantwell
can someone please tell me where this model has undercambered wings???????

KingKade
I think they are referring to the 2nd to last photo of the 2 wing halves?
Garbo
Ah I think thats an illusion caused by the shape of the ply tongue

Simon Chambers
The aircraft + shipping to here from Hong Kong makes it $110 = £68. Becomes less of a bargain then. If it appears in the UK warehouse though, I'll soon snap it up! Looks a great Wot4 style hack aircraft that'll eat up spare 40 sized engines that are everywhere. Cheers, Si. Concorde Speedbird
£68, I'd definitely choose a Wot 4 over it then. May be easier to fly than the Wot though, better for beginners perhaps. CS
Dale Gibson
I actually quite like it's quirky looks but as a comparison, I recently paid £68 for my Irvine Tutor 2 ( 63" span ARTF trainer) from my LMS so had no postage to pay.
