Roy Mundy
Hi Everyone, I have 2 young Children a boy of almost 7 and a Girl of almost 9 They love coming into my workshop and playing with all my off cuts of wood. I have built 3 galaxy kits and I'm now building my 1st scale sig clipped wing piper. I am thinking of getting 2 fairly simple kit planes for my children to build, maybe freeflight, elastic band or even 3 channel. They have both said that they would like to learn to fly, and I have 2 futaba ff8 Tx and buddie lead also phoenix flight sim ...............So learning shouldnt be a problem. It's just finding something easy that I can help them to build which wont cost the earth. Any ideas ? .................I think a kit rather than a plan would be best. bouncebounce crunch
Must build quick, must fly easily, or interest will be lost. I know, I have been through it six times with my own kids plus 5 nieces and nephews and been disappointed that they don't enjoy the hobby that i do, there will be one out of the lot that will enjoy it though, and i hope they find you. Roy Mundy
Andy Thanks for the link I will check it out. Bounce Bounce, you are right about build it quick, must fly easy as my Children do lose interest in things and its normally me who ends up finishing the projects off.
