VQ Hurricane 46 - tip stall

Recommended Posts

I've had 3 'flights' with this and due to the very high wing loading its tendency to tip stall is something else. I've been doing some research online and it seems to be a common problem. Does anyone have any experience with this model and how to improve the problem? There doesn't appear to be much/any washout.

I've repaired the firewall twice and getting a bit fed up.  Much more of this and it's getting burnt...I've flown other tapered wing warbirds and had more success

If the ailerons are outboard ie near the tips rather than strip ailerons this might help. Adjust the aileron linkages so the aileron is sticking up a couple of mm each side, effectively giving a little washout. Might be worth a go!
