I look at it this way, I've contributed 100% for years and years so as long as we don't suffer because of it, I DESERVE purchasing a little balsa, glue and covering now and then.

There you go, that's your first therapy session and it was free. Book now for further appointments.

Hello fellow holics I may have to take you up on this Ruprect lol, I was given an ultimatum by her in doors as the TMFC air show is looming upon me and I have money in the pocket to burn she has decided I have to get rid of some of my models before I can get any more.

Why are women so cruel crying 2,

so I agreed.............little does she know I've hidden them in my parents attic he he he

ps   Hi Everyone my name is Phantom and I'm a plane'a'holic

Yeah, what is it about this hobby? and spending?

I have had several expensive hobbies in the past, I was a drummer for 20 years, and I thought I was addicted to that by having 3 kits, and who knows how many cymbals! but I never spent anywhere near as much money as this hobby, I wasn't even in the music shops EVERY Saturday!

Althoughy spending does have to be curbed a little now as I have just ordered my new car (funnily enough one big enough to fit my largest plane in lol)

And its not just the LMS I have problems in, Aldi, Poundstretcher, TKMaxx and Booths for tools, stalls on markets are constantly scoured to find something that might come in one day and don't even get me started on the internet sheesh!

Ok so i promised myself i wouldn,t buy any models this year. So far so good , with just a couple of exceptions. 1 auto gyro and 1 Trex 450.

The rest of the non existant modeling budget has been sunk into the build of my new workshop, about £1200 so far with about another 6 or 7 hundred to finish .

The bad news is that The LMA show at RAF Cosford is a must do and thats always an expensive day !.

Bring on the good times.smiley

Hmmm....I've just seen SLEC will be at the LMA show in Elvington too.....

Think I might be bringing a box of wood home with me, as the storage and workshop areas should be complete by then. Wonder who else is going to be there....
