David Davis Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 I am looking to buy an aluminium or dural undercarriage to suit the "works" Senior Telemaster similar to the one I am holding in my avatar. The fuselage width of an STM is 4.25 inches (11cms) and the model weighs just over 10 lbs. David Davis Posted August 7, 2013 Author Share Posted August 7, 2013 Eddie of DB Sport and Scale made me a dural undercarriage for £27 including post and packing which I thought was good value and suitable for any other large non-scale model. In view of the weight of the model, Eddie recommended an undercarriage made of two pieces of dural. Pictures of the undercarriage below. I have substituted the "sheep crush" wheels, pictured in my first posting, for rubber tyred vintage wheels because the new undercarriage is so rigid.
