Russ P
I've read in various articles where wing mounted servos are covered in shrink wrap and then glued into position. What type of shrink is used?
Jamie sawyer
You can get up to 50mm heat shrink wrap on ebay. That might be big enough to fit a mini servo. I personally wrap the servo first in electrical take and glue it in place. Its just as secure. Jamie
Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
Masking tape is often used too Russ....the idea of the tape is to allow it to be removed taking the glue with it & leaving the servo case clean & fresh & ready to be glued in again..... Cleanliness is next to Godliness here.....remove all traces of dust & grease....
