Steve Houghton 1
I always set up crow on my 4 servo gliders as it can be very effective, depending on the size of your flaps though, and the angle of deflection you get. For instance, my X Models Whisper has flaps which will only droop to about 50 degrees, so with full crow deployed it does take a much longer landing approach, especially in lighter breezes, when sometimes its difficult to stop In contrast, my FPK Signal has flaps that deploy about 90 degrees and will stop on a sixpence, regardless of the wind speed. On two servo wings I usually set up spoilerons as some braking is better than non at all and they can be effective in some situations.
