Dates will be the first weekend of August the 2nd/3rd. Early days but as soon as I have more I will be along to update. Looking forward to it again already!! Lee Wilson Posted January 16, 2014 Author Share Posted January 16, 2014 Details for the show have been finalised and we are now taking pilot bookings via our web site. We are a BMFA affiliated site and pilots will be required to have B certificate, LMA proficiency or equivalent. For pilots wishing to fly at the show pleases visit our web site www.wintertonmodelshow.co.uk and complete the booking form that is under the pilots link. Our pilot and helper hospitality will be up to the same high standards and we also have a BBQ planned for Saturday night after the show and hopefully entertainment again. Camping will be available from Thursday through to Monday 4th on site free to all those pilots who fly in the display and at a rate of £15 a night, including show entrance, for spectators. Entrance fees to the show for spectators will be £5.00 for adults, £3.00 for children. The flying display will take place from 10.00 to 16.00 both days. Don't forget I need numbers to ensure I have enough bacon, sausages and cakes to keep you all well fed over the weekend. We do appreciate our pilots! If you would like to come and fly at our laid back, welcoming event then please fill out our pilot form here Pilot Forms Have been talking to Max Bradley from Grimsby Model Centre and he has confirmed that they will once again be attending this years show with a trade stand and Max will also be providing his dulcet tones as commentator again this year. Trade bookings are filling up as well as the flight line. Merlin Innovations Gas Hanger Falcon Aviation Vulcan Hobbies Elite Workwear Mike Eccles will also be with us with the LMA stand if you want to pop along and have a chat BMFA will also be attending with their very popular Flight simulator trailer, great for all ages to have a try at flying RC model aircraft for the first time or to have a go at a full size RC Mustang. Pilot bookings are coming in but we still have slots available. Camping for pilots will be available free from the Thursday before the show until the Monday after. Breakfast will be provided both days of the show and a BBQ Saturday night with hopefully some entertainment thrown in. If you fancy joining us for what our past display pilots tell us is "One of the best organised, relaxed and enjoyable shows of the calendar" Pilot application forms are on our web site.
