Phil Green
Had an email from Ian Apperly who says he's a model shop owner, about the DX5e channel 6 adapter, can anyone here vouch for Ian please? The reason I'm asking is that the email had all the hallmarks of a phish with poor spelling & grammar etc Ta Phil
Depron Daz
Did you contact him first? The only Ian Apperly that springs to mind is the Professor of cognitive psychology at Birmingham Uni.

Phil Green
Thanks lads, unforch he didnt give any details, so I dont know which shop, also as its looks very much like phishing I'm reluctant to reply! If its genuine, I'd expect someone might have known him. Cheers Phil
Martin Whybrow
Is the email domain one commonly used by phishers, e.g. hotmail or gmail? You can trace the location of the originator of the email by the IP address of the 1st sender in the email headers, if you know how to read them. Phil Green
Hi Martin, thanks, yes I'd intended checking the header when I get home, we're away at the mo so only on my phone and it hides all the detail.
