It has been way too long since my last update.........Feb 2015.... as it is now January 2017

quick update before I start the pictures...
Moved to Canberra in Jan 16... as expected the removalists managed to break the wing tip off. This required a new wing (read that as too many errors in the first one)..

Here is the old wing with the broken section removed and sitting in the bin

covered the building board with cling wrap, bottom spar clamped to the board, ribs cut out and ready to glue

center rib glued and braced, retract mounts assembled and glued into position

all ribs in glued in place, top spar fitted, now cutting out and fitting the false leading edge and trailing edges

wing assembled, top sheet fitted and rear spars fitted

second half of the wing has been completed.
both sides attached.
Now the retracts have been fitted, and siting the servos for the flaps and ailerons

the linkages will be RDS to keep the linkages hidden within the wing and streamlined (looks good too)

Now to work on the gear doors, build the flaps and ailerons.

Sheet the bottom of the wing... before getting started on the fuselage
