Ady Hayward
Hi, I have a friend that put his Wren turbine I one of these L39 as seen in the picture. With a suitable air gap between hot parts and foam, these fly incredibly well. Adrian
MAD Dave
Ady, interesting collection in the photo. The pair of TSR2's are noted in particular. Ever since seeing the prototype fly in the ~mid 60's as a school lad, I have wanted to model one for R/C. Can you offer any information as to how true to scale they are and what the flying qualities are like? Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks, Dave. StuartC
Im not sure I would be comfotable trying a foam conversion. Visions of a fast moving fireball......... Its an interesting idea but im not sure I would be able to convert a faom model, safely. Im more looking for an idea of whats available for that size of turbine, without conversions.
