Stuphedd Posted May 19, 2014 Author Share Posted May 19, 2014 Ok yesterday the first day in ages out tame vid man did not turn up !!Hence only the stills Cor blimey is a slight understatement ! There were only 4 of us yesterday and we all needed a trip to the trauma dept after the flight ! It was exciting for two members and terrifying for the other two , one of which was me ! But it landed safely with no damage . It is unstable , I like that normally , but at that speed , cos it is quick , and with no prop to brake it , it only slows slowly !! 2 over shoots to get it low enough to land l It likes slow speed and handles smoothly , but open it up and all it wants to to is attack outer space in a straight line ailerons ineffective .Slowing it down at altitude to lose height , it went into a spin which was a bit uncalled for , but it came out , with a bit of help and not much ground clearance , exciting ?? fun definitely ! I played with the CG , but it did not tame the beast YET . But this is where it gets interesting FLIGHT DEVELOPMENT!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
