MikeS
I have never got my head round setting up my Sigma 2 eq charger to charge nicads or nimh battery's. I have a 6v 8mah sealed lead acid battery that I would like to charge, what settings do I need.MikeEdited By MikeS on 22/05/2014 09:57:

Bob Cotsford
doesn't it have a Pb (lead acid) option? A quick browse of the instructions on-line shows Pb as being available - keep pressing the left hand button (red), when it shows PB press the right hand button (green), select the number of cells (in your case 3, 6v) using < and > yellow buttons then press green to start it. It's a standard clone charger that looks the same as the Imax units that I use. manual Edited By Bob Cotsford on 22/05/2014 14:29:
MikeS
Thanks Crispin and Bob. Yes it has the Pb option. I will give it ago in the morning. Do I have to manually end the charge or does it auto end the same as lipos. Mike
MikeS
I put a volt meter across my lead acid battery and it showed 2.6v so I will try and recover it but my charger was showing connection break. Got a new battery 6v 10ah and put it on charge at 6v and 0.4A. Charger is charging at 7.35 v. After reading the manual it does not say if the charger stops once the battery is charged like it does with lipos Mike Edited By MikeS on 24/05/2014 09:28:
