NBRMAS Scale day

Recommended Posts

NBRMAS scale day - 8th June 2014.

All disciplines welcome, with emphasis on WW1 this year to commemorate the centenary (though not compulsory). Please contact us beforehand if planning to fly a turbine.

A low key, friendly event held near East Hanney in Oxfordshire. Our club field benefits from open fields all around with a mown patch of roughly 70m square. There will be a BBQ at lunchtime and commentary through the day.

A cert required to fly solo, B cert for models over 7kg and any turbines.

To assist with the location of the site, go to www.nbrmas.co.uk and select the 'Membership' page and there is a couple of maps shown.

The site is south of Abingdon and north of Wantage between the hamlets of East Hanney and Venn Mill. Even though we are 'North Berks' due to boundary realignment we are in Oxfordshire!
