  1. www.modelmarkings.com/ These people will do you a fine job.
  2. Many thanks for the above, I will get to Maplins in the morning
  3. I have a Ripmax (Pro-Power) lead acid cell of 2 volt and 4 Ah capacity. I bought it to power my glow plugs but inevitably at 2 volts it is blowing plugs. Is there a way, other than a big coil of wire, to neatly drop the voltage down to 1.5volts?
  4. I love these types pf repair and renovation, in the 70s when I started R/C I would be doing this every week with trainers. I too have had excellent results with HobbyKing film so I am not surprised that you found it good to use. It is nice to know that the skills to 'do real aeromodelling' are not completely lost. More power to your elbow!

    DVLA

I assure you that the DVLA cannot do things faster. I had to renew my driving licence at the end of February. They received the renewal on 15th February and started processing it on 28th Feb. I got the licence back on 1st week of April. They justify this by saying that so long as they have received the renewal application by the due date there is a provision in law which says I can drive a car in the interim period. So long as you can establish that the DVLA had the change of ownership document 'tear off' before the date of the parking ticket, I don't believe you are liable. Check the DVLA website, there are lots of pages there to answer queries. There is also an 0345 number to contact them. Don't hold your breath whilst waiting for a reply however. The only thing I would have done differently is to have posted it on a "Signed For" basis
  6. I made my choice a good while ago, I don't use Homebase but do use Screwfix and I find their glues are the equal of anyone else's and very reasonable prices too.
  7. I have received an invoice and have paid it. Edited By Chris Bott - Moderator on 04/10/2014 17:18:16
  8. I would like to have a couple of instrument panels if they are around the £20 mark.
  9. Danny, my PM to you bounced back. I don't know what went wrong.
  10. To assist with the location of the site, go to www.nbrmas.co.uk and select the 'Membership' page and there is a couple of maps shown. The site is south of Abingdon and north of Wantage between the hamlets of East Hanney and Venn Mill. Even though we are 'North Berks' due to boundary realignment we are in Oxfordshire!
  11. I have the plan and a Laser 80 and I would like to be part of this mass build. I will also take the 'spare' set of hinges if they are still available and someone lets me know how to pay for them. The one I shall base my model on is an Army one from Middle Wallop. I can make a start pretty soon as I only have a small sports model to complete. David B
  12. I bought one about a month ago but at a little bit more, about £40 I think. The U/C retracts the wrong way and the sides are flat but for the money and as a sports model you cant go wrong..
