LYKA
I have some spare 4c 3300 lipo batteries. I have just brought a Dynam Hurricane.Anybody tell me if these would be OK to put in the Dynam Hurricane.I have beeb told these would be to much for the Dynam Hurricane And I would be better putting some 3c 3000 in the Huricane ,yet thy recomend a 4c 3000 for the Hurricane.I am at a loss to stick with 4 c 3300 batteries I have or buy some new 3c 3000.Also when I start the engine up it is fine on half throttle and fine on full throttle but on tick over it tends to pulse anyone knows what that could be
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
If they recommend a 4s 3000mAh then, as long as it will physically fit, a 4s 3300mAh can't "be too much for it" in any way. All it will do is add a little weight and about 10% longer flight time. BEB
Tony F
Also its well know that the esc in dynam models are "dodgy" so it might be worth changing it. Do a google search on dynam hurricane esc fault and a few results will pop up.Tony
Trevor Crook
A recent review of the Hurri in another mag. by Dave Wilshere mentioned the ESC issue. He lived with it and it didn't give problems when flying.
