David Ashby - Moderator
Alice, the BMFA Nationals at RAF Barkston Heath near Grantham over the Aug bank holiday weekend is huge and has the national RC competitions alongside a 'show' flight line. As Steve says, the Cosford show is big and run by the Large Model Association. The Cosford museaum is on the site too. All depends where you are in the UK and travelling considerations etc.

Pernevi Alice
because what I want the show to contain is both elements of competiton but also the possibility to look at prototypes of planes, and maybe try yourself etc

David Ashby - Moderator
Alice,I can't think of a better event for your father to go along to, the only alternative would be the LMA show at Cosford, seee the ad' in the mag or look at the LMA site (large model assoc) David.
