Dave Hopkin
Seems to me that the title of this thread should be "Fake Orange RX poor range" If you buy a cheapo drill bit at a car boot and when you use it, its rubbish, do you blame the electric drill? ERIC DODSWORTH
depends if it only fails in one drill orange isnt fake they aknowledge horizon hobby and make no claim to be spektrum. spektrum would not have the market share they do if it wasn't for orange they made 2.4 affordable they work on dsm2 if they no longer work dsm2 must have changed it then becomes irresponsible to label something as dsm2 if it no longer is if orange is not dsm2 it shouldn't bind with the transmitter spektrum are risking a lot by mislabeling their radios as dsm2 if they are dsm2.
adrian lawrence 1
I know it's not a DX7, however I have a new DX9 and so far have not had any issues with using the Orange DSM2 RX's with it. I have a couple of the new Orange DSMX receivers to try, however I have not yet flown a model with these in yet.
Pete B
We're getting seriously off-topic here - this thread was about short range problems with the DX7s. I'll lock this thread and if anyone wants to resurrect the original subject, PM me and I'll re-open it. Meanwhile it would make more sense, and be considerably less confusing, if we continue with Eric's problems on his original thread here Pete
