Bob Cotsford Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 No, I just run everything straight off the 2S 6.6v packs, even JR servos which are only supposed to be ok on 4.8v. The sort of models I fly don't really load the servos up and so far I have yet to have any failures due to voltage. I do have dual failover regulators on a couple of larger models but that's partly so I don't have to worry about what battery I stick in them on the day (lipo or life), and partly to provide a backup power supply.
