Chuck Plains
Just to prove that I'm no expert, I was told off by the original poster of the Sky Surfer/Bixler thread on RC Groups because not all props have the writing on the front. But most brands do. I just held all my props, one by one, up to the screen now and compared them to you original image. None of them are the same as either of yours. So neither are normal props. In my opinion. I'll say that the lower one will work as a pusher for anti-clock rotation, as long as the face we see is towards the back of the plane. And the top one, as you mentioned, will work as a puller for clockwise rotation with the face we see towards the front of the plane.. I wonder if of them is meant to be a contra rotating one for twin engines. There's my neck, feel free to pass a blade or a drink through it, whichever seems more suitable. Having said that, my Bixler did not have a pusher prop from new, just a cheapo normal type which vibrated a bit from the word go.
Phil Green
I honestly dont understand why pushers cause so much head scratching... you can see how they should be oriented just by looking! Maybe manufacturers add confusion by selling a reverse pitch prop as a pusher. Any prop will push, its actually nothing whatever to do with the prop - merely which side its driven from!
