Jonathan Lewzey
I've just come back from the show. Good trade attendance and some very good flying. Anyone know why Ali's C17 wasn't there? Still, his 220mph Bobcat made up for it! Some highlights for me:Steve Carr's Edge 540 in Red Bull scheme - awesome plane, great pilotingThe two Red Arrows Hawks flying in formation were stunning although they didn't quite get the one inverted - one right way up manouvre right. I think they need to watch the full size reds more!Ken Sheppard's "yellow thing" nearly crashing into Ivan Goodchild's A10 on the runway! The very brave 3D flying of a local student who made some of the regular show pilots look ordinary .I got an Ikarus shock flyer for £12 - yes £
David Ashby - Moderator
Did the weather affect things too much Jonathan ?
Jonathan Lewzey
No, the weather was very kind following a grim forecast. We had a bit of 'drizzle' in the late afternoon, but the wind speed was good and not too gusty. I don't think any of the pilots decided not to fly based on the weather; even some biplanes flew.
