baza Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Quick question - on building the wings on the Lancaster and it says on the plans to put sheet webbing to the top and bottom spars. That sheet webbing is just sheet bolster wood isn't it or do you buy sheet webbing, if there is such a thing? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just want to get it right. Dave Hopkin Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Sheet Webbing is Balsa wood (unless the plan specifies something else) and the grain should run vertically between the spars - it should make the spars into a "beam" so any flexing in one is transferred to the other Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
