simon burch
Flew as a guest at Ashford Model club a couple of weekends ago. We took some video on an iphone, and my mate edited it together. I think its great as I don't have much video of any of my models. Model is a Boomerang Sprint with a Wren 80 turbine. **LINK** The jet bug has definitely took hold. Nev Haycox
Hi Simon, I enjoyed that video, only wish I could hear more of the Wren . I recently went to the JMA meet at Long Marston (Sun Mar 22nd) and Throckmorton (Sat Apr 18th), I kept an eye out for you but didn't see you, perhaps you were there on a different day, never mind there's always next time. simon burch
I agree about the turbine noise, but I've watched it a few times and I must admit I quite like the balance between the two. I was at Long Marston on the Saturday and didn't go to Throckmorton so missed you both times. Have you got your jet sorted yet? Nev Haycox
My Xcalibur is slowly coming together, hopefully have it finished soon. It has been quite a steep learning curve but have really enjoyed the journey. I need to get my B Certificate so I really must knuckle down and get it sorted. Nev. Djay
love my sprint, it is 6 years old now and still flying. I keep getting told off as I fly it like my Acrowot instead of a jet plane, but it is so much fun and so capable of low and slow or fast manouvers.
