Jim Mchugh
All, Purchased a Hobbyking 48" Superlight Edge 540 EP from a clubmate last night. Sold originally by Hobbyking, but no trace of it left on their website. Box has some basic size and weight information and is mysteriously branded as Turnigy. The trays in the fuz have an obvious hole for a 12 gram pull-pull type rudder servo. Having a feel around the tail area (?!) reveals similar holes for another servo or servos, for the elevator. Questions: 1) Would anyone have a manual for this plane? Rumours on the web suggest that a paper manual NEVER existed but I find that difficult to believe! 2) Can someone please confirm that the "normal" elevator servo position is indeed the tail area below the rear wing? Thanks, forumites!
Pete B
Can't help with a manual but if it's the same model, Flitetest did a review and you may find some info here. Pete
Jim Mchugh
Pete, Thanks, I found that Flitetest page already. It does give me a starting point for some stuff like motors etc. CofG is unknown but I'll go for very slightly forward of the spar tube to be safe, then adjust as needed. Thanks!
