Steve Dunning
Details have been received now from Tony, and the date is 16th August for a UKCAA event at this new venue. I have been asked to mention that the club enforces the BMFA noise limit of 82dB so no 'screamer' please. Modern engines, particularly on a quiet pipe will meet the target I would have thought, just keep the revs around 10000rpm. Hope this helps. Bill Michie
That's the Dirty Birdy out then................. possibly the Curare too, though it's prob close to the limit on an 11 x 9. Hopefully can make it. Bill
IanN
Are spectators permitted? I'd be very interested to come and see one of these events and find out a bit more about UKCAA, and the Watford event is pretty much on my doorstep
Martyn K
From a UKCAA point of view you would be very welcome as a spectator. However, if you want to join UKCAA and remove any ambiguity, you would also be very welcome.. Membership forms here: UKCAA Membership Form (It's still free to join) Best wishes Martyn

Martyn K
Dear all UKCAA members have been advised by newsletter of the booking process for this event. Those who are not (yet) members - you need to notify Steve Dunning of your planned attendance including your BMFA membership number. Steve will provide you with access information which needs to be complied with. BMFA A (or better) Certificate required if you plan to fly and standard BMFA noise restrictions/limits are enforced. BMFA membership cards required on the day. Sadly, I cant make it as I will be navigating Lago di Garda in a rubber ring but I trust you will support this event and enjoy the day. Further updates may follow, both here and through the usual channels Martyn
