brokenenglish Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 I regularly assemble and disassemble HK arf kits (Super Kinetic). This involves connecting up ball joint control horns, and I'm totally unable to do it! I've tried many times to press the ball into the cup, I've tried with pliers and I've even tapped gently with a light hammer(!) and I've never managed to do it!!! Similarly, using reasonable force, I'm unable to separate them either... The problem is aggravated by the fact that the horns are attached to a fairly flimsy foam control surface, which really rules out simple brute force. All this leads me to think that there may be some method, tip or knack that I'm missing... Any help or advice would be appreciated... PLEASE!!!
