Ok i know not the done thing to reply to your own posts but as no one else did.......

Worked just fine, though balance and duration is better with a 3700mah 8.4v Nim pack. Originaly went for the 9.6v as i have noticed some off the shelf leccy birds were a tad underpowered. Not this one, plenty of power with the 8.4v Nim pack for a decent climb and not too bad on the glide back down. Even managed to find a bit of thermal though not enough to gain height i was able to maintain altitude for some minutes. Flight times around 17mins on the 3300mah Nim recharge time 40mins at 1C, 24 mins with the 3700mah Nim recharge time 44mins at 1C. Well pleased with my first go at EP, many thanx to those who have posted info on this forum on EP especialy Timbo's articles which gave me the confidence to give EP a go without making a large investment or burning anything out.
