Simon Wright Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Our club is looking to improve its facilities over the next few years and while we have a nice strip at the moment it is considered too tight with car parking,, seating, pits, starting tables and runway crammed into 65m x 85m envelope. the strip itself is North- south and 22m x 85 m long. We are looking to extend the site to 110m x 110m forming ab L shape strip north south runway of 110m x 50m and an east west of 70m x 30m looking North. The cars are parked against a hedge 100 meteres from the edge ofthe field. WE have a mower thatis kept about a mile away in the viallage and is brought up by trailer We used to have one stored in a secure box butthat was an ancient Hayter not worth anyhting. **LINK** NOTE Video. Peter Miller Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 The cars can be seen just after the take off. Large mown area is the helicopter area also occasionally used for control line.
