mightypeesh
Hi chaps. Just seen this add for Richmond sausages and they are giving away these toy tracking chip things which connect to your phone map. **LINK** If they are good for finding teddy, might be good for finding our 'lost toys' They must only cost a few quid for themto be given away as a promo - anybody know what they are? Cheers, Simon
GrahamC
Possibly something like this. Not tried one yet but have a couple for the kids at Christmas... or one of the other variations. They will be using bluetooth and an app. The range should be a good few metres which should certainly make searching a field for a model a more hopeful task. [ie get within 10 metres of it and hopefully you will be able to trigger it. ] Quick edit... I see the manufacturers claim a 50m range. My experience suggests that a crop does quite a good job of blocking RF so in practice I suspect it would be quite a bit lower.
