Tom Flynn 1 Posted March 11, 2016 Share Posted March 11, 2016 Hi Guys I'm well behind all of you on this build, I have just received my wood pack, but thinking now to go electric. I'm new to electric so still finding it all a black art. I have a BL2832/05 which came out of a plane I bought and turned into IC. So I am looking for your advice to see whether this motor would be OK and what battery's and ESC I should use. The electric aircraft I have are all powered by 4s 2200 lipo,s. Dave Hopkin Posted March 11, 2016 Share Posted March 11, 2016 That motor should have plenty of power its current draw on a 13x6 and 4S is given as over 60Amps which is around 1000W So you will need an 80A ESC but I would see what power you get on a 12" prop as it might be too much power depending on how heavy your build is Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
