Obviously there's a strong connection between the Hood and Bismarck and through that with the Swordfish. That was responsible for doing the damage to Bismarck's steering gear that condemned it to losing direction and turning in circles, making its' demise inevitable. How many brave aviators faced horrendous odds in that outdated but remarkable biplane, flying headlong into the face of direct AA fire to deliver their torpedo. Very close to suicide missions, but in return we got the success at Taranto and the blow to Bismarck that ensured its' undoing before it wreaked any more havoc.
