Nick Burroughs 2
Can anyone help me with a copy of the build instructions for an ARC Ready. NOTE not the Ready 2 (if there is a difference apart from decals).I especially need to know where the CG is when measured from the leading edge. This second hand aircraft was inherited with an old MVVS 46 and the carburettor is totally stuffed. I want to put an RMX 40 in it and although I know where the CG is now, the RMX is heavier. Also I don't know if the current CG is correct.ThanksNick
Tim Mackey
the COG of the model should remain in the same place irrespective of what engine you fit - thats the point - the correct place is the correct place - full stop. Fitting a larger engine will necessitate adding tail weight or shifting batteries etc to retain that COG.If you cant find a manual to confirm the position, then starting at around 25 - 30% of chord back from L/E should get it flying...then adjust to suit yourself.
