Geoff S
Posted by Andy48 on 28/05/2016 21:33:35: I used the charge markers for a time but they tended to fall apart. Now i use these. They also protect the connector from shorting out. HK of course. I've just converted all my 3S packs to XT60 from 4mm bullet and I use those covers too. They serve both as charge indicators and protectors for the plugs. My 4S packs are still 4mm bullet (plug on the positive) and, as I only have 6 (4X 3600 and 2x 4000) I rely on memory. In any case I always check that a battery is charged before flying just in case. I also don't bother store charging. Geoff
The Wright Stuff
Posted by Mel Jones on 28/05/2016 14:21:55: I take a fully charged set of lipo`s with me on my visit to our field, they are kept in an egg grate style box each with it`s own small compartment, and all facing upright, ie leads poking out from the top, before using them they are checked just to be sure, then once used they are put back into the compartments but upside down. +1 I do this as well, just use the orientation in the box. Simple, and no need to buy anything or remember to take them to the field...
