Thomas Pedersen 1
I have just bourght a NIB "Diamond Cloud" 120" glider from the '80's, designed by John Stevens. Sadly it is missing the Building plan. Can anybody here help me obtaining one? Regards Thomas Pedersen Denmark
Thomas Pedersen 1
If absolutely imposible to locate a Diamond Cloud plan, maybe a "Gold Cloud" plan would sort out some of the loose ends, or if there is one or two Diamonds Clouds out there still alive some detail pictures of it would be a great help Regards Thomas
PatMc
Thomas, I have a part build Gold Cloud in my queue of models to complete & modify for electric. I'm not willing to part with the plan but I could scan some details from the plan &/or instructions as full size pdf files (A4) if that would help in any way. Cheers, Pat. Thomas Pedersen 1
Hi Pat, I am sure that would be a great help, thank you. As much info/details as you can manage, maybe a couple of pictures of the plan to get a larger perspective??

PatMc
Thomas, the Gold Cloud kit was part built when I bought it. I've taken photos of the wing inner panels & tailplane as they came plus sections of the plan that I think will be helpful. Each wing panel shown is 60cm long & the wing chord (when complete) is 220mm. I've put all of the steel joining dowels in place to show how they are arranged. Note that on the close up of the tailplane the part numbers are stamped on, most parts seem to be simply numerical stamped to correspond with the instruction booklet in a similar manner to some German model design practice. When I have time I scan the instruction booklet & create a pdf of it. If there are any other particular areas of the plan you want me to photograph let me know. Cheers, Pat. Thomas Pedersen 1
Thank you so much both of you! I will order a plan from Derek Scott. I am very glad for the pictures anyway, they still give me a good idea of how things will go together. If the parts is not traced on the drawing, i will trace them all for future reference. Again thank you! Regards Thomas Pedersen
