Danny Fenton Posted October 16, 2016 Share Posted October 16, 2016 I have been looking forward to this event for several months, and as you will see in a future magazine column I have designed and built a model to compete in the scale class.However no advertising and no promotion of any kind has surprise, surprise, resulted in very few entries. I have just been told with just 8 days to go that the event is cancelled.So if any of you were thinking of popping along to RAF Shawbury to watch or even compete, then don't bother.Dissapointed? The Electric Master, although advertised (with an awful cheap poster) was Valentines weekend! They've got a lot to do in order to get word out, as well as choose more sensible dates IMO.
