Bob Cotsford Posted November 5, 2016 Share Posted November 5, 2016 With the Hobbyking farce in full swing last week I found myself in need (ok, wanting) some 3S 5000 LiPos for a new acquisition. Having abandoned an attempt to get them from HK I started looking elsewhere (Google!) and found PowerPeak on Ebay. Turnigy packs at prices not a million miles from HK's, possibly better as these had free postage. Best of all, you can specify the type of connectors you want. I opted for XT60s, and put the order in on the 1st. They do warn that alternate connectors can add a day or two to the delivery time, but as we're comparing this custom service with HK's take it or leave it options - not a problem. The packs arrived this morning couriered by My Hermes. I expected the usual soldered connections with a bit of heat shrink on top. Nope, it's a very professional looking moulded housing with nice serrated grippy bits: Looks to be a supplier worth checking out - UK based too! (Why no Union Flag smilie? We need one!)
