ChrisB
Out flying today and within eyeshot of EMA. Mid-afternoon something big landed at EMA. Looked like a 4 engined heavy but can't find anything on the trackers anywhere. It looked like it had a red fin. Anyone seen a heavy about this afternoon? Bill_B
Turbo prop or jet Chris? The only really large aircraft I see on a fairly regularl basis going in & out of EMA is the An-124 collecting R-R engines for shipment abroad, but that has a blue/white fin. P.S. I'm guessing your a member of LEMAC?
ChrisB
It was a 4 engine jet. Looked like a 747, assumed Virgin, as it was a white fuz with red fin but that doesn't fit the usual VA routing and timings. Could it have been a Cargo Lux or Cargo Global? Phil Cooke
Will have been the Air Cargo Global 747-400. **LINK**
ChrisB
Thanks Phil but according to the historic FR24 tracker it wasn't ACG.. ACG own two 747's and neither have entered UK today according the FR24
