Andy Pickford
I was thinking about getting a Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40 as a second model (1st low wing) what do you guys think of this model? Would it be suitable as a second aircraft? It looks a really nice bit of kit.Cheers Andy
Tim Campling
Two words....Buy it!My second low wing and it's fab. Easy to build with good instructions. I put an OS 46AX in but it could certainly handle something bigger. I'm thinking of getting the 60 version.Loads of fun, only thing to watch is the floaty landing! Andy Harris
Seems like a great model. My son has the Mini Pulse XT and a club member has the Pulse XT 40, the finish on the XT 40 is better. Both models can get a long way away quickly and both fly well ... birdy
The pulse is supposedly good, but you will find it hard to get hold of here in the UK: Says why in the September RCM&E "all write."
260 Flyer
I tried to locate a Pulse XT40 last week, but no one in the UK had one in stock or any idea when they will arrive, so I am now the proud owner of a Pulse XT 60 as yet unflown. I still prefer the colour scheme of the XT 40 and will probably get one to complete the set along with my Mini Pulse. Then of course the 25 size will be available later this year. Andy Pickford
I've ordered one now. Not bothered about the wait it will give me time to save my pennys for a 4 stroke for it. I might make the 2.4 jump with this model. Just flying my trainer as much as i can for now.
Peter Eve
If you're anywhere near Andover the Model Centre has one at the old price. Don't know if he would do mail order. Just bought mine on Saturday but he said he had another "at home". Seems us locals are pulsed out! Let me know if you want a phone number. 260 Flyer
The Pulse XT 40 is on special offer at Totem Hobbies for £120 + £9 next day courier delivery. I got one for my next electric project instead of the 25 version that I had been waiting for, but the price is now higher than the 40!
