David Hall 9
After only a little use, the firewall of my 2m Phoenix is fractured around the mounting plate used for the motor. I think that it might be better to fix a new ply firewall to the inside of the fus using what's left of the moulded plastic one. It's advertised as being made of nylon. I tried a test glueing with UHU "All Plastics", but this had no effect on the nylon although it did stick to the plywood a little. The surface of the plastic was untouched by the glue. Can anyone suggest a glue that might be good for fixing the firewall to the fus?
