Old John B
Have a Spectrum DX6 Tranny and decided to try the "Orange"R615 receiver. Two in fact. Went flying and the boys tell me that these are park flyer receivers. They range check OK at 30 metres, but what is the range of park flyer receivers, the advert on Hobby King doesn't say park flyer at all Help . . stevan Lewis 1
Hi John, after my comment this morning I have now looked into the range issue with these receivers. It seems that these r615x are fine for all normal flying just not suitable for long range, ie beyond line of sight, which for both of us is not very far so you should be fine. see you next week Steve

Don Fry
They do the range check. They are fit for purpose. Range will defeat your eyes. The boys are snobs.
Old John B
Thanks chaps, you have reassured me and I shall now be happy to use them. Old John B
Mike Blandford
My understanding is the R615X is a full range receiver, but the add-on telemetry board that was available (maybe still is) is short range as far as sending the telemetry data back. Nigel R
Just to add to above. I have two. Never given a moments trouble. No problem with range checks or airborne range.
