Bruce Collinson
I need to replace the bearings in a 4Max electric motor. Suspecting that George is flat out with mail orders I hesitate to disturb him and suspecting that many forumites are easily distracted (whereas I’m just awarding myself a short break from work) I thought I’d ask here. I have a new shaft, bearings and Circlips to match the PO 5055-595 and have had the shaft out but how do I remove and replace the bearings please? Cuban8
Search YouTube for 'replacing brushless motor bearings'. Several tutorials available. Not a difficult job but you might need a small bearing puller or suitable drift, or make up something that will do the job. Take care when seating the new bearings, being so small they'll be easily ruined if forced in or pressure applied in the wrong place.
