Cuban8
After many hours of fruitless searches on-line, I turn to the wealth of knowledge stored in the vaults of our forum. I'm looking for a decent view of the circular orange markings that appear on the inboard top side wing of the BBMF's T10 Chippy - the black and white one that I believe that they no longer have. I can't find a good sized picture of them or come across any reference as to what they are. Plenty of underside shots and side on pictures on various sites but other than a misty smudge I can't make out what they're meant to be. Even Airfix don't do that particular kit anymore and the review pictures I've found of the kits or box artwork are no good. Any info would be very welcome. Martin Harris - Moderator
Are you talking about the painted area around the fuel fillers/gauges? If so, this is what is contained within the circle (from the Shuttleworth Chipmunk)
David P Williams
Martin beat me to it, I had to find my hard copy photos in the loft, then my printer/scanner went on the blink, so I had to photograph the photographs. These are in red, but it may be what your markings are
