Olaf Pedersen
I have a 1.2 x ruhig tiger that was built by a chap on this forum (stevoM?) I have flown it on an ngh 25 which was just to rough for it and shook the engine mount to breaking oint. The model is about 72" span and weighs in the region of 10 - 11 pounds dependent on ballast. Does the team think that an old laser 100 will be adequate. This engine has successfully flown a 1/4 scale c/w cub with a certain amount of gusto, fwiw. Jon H
It will be more than enough. I flew a greatplanes escapade 61 of 69inches and 9.5lbs with a 100 and it was fully aerobatic.
Olaf Pedersen
Thanks for that, it'll save me several hours fitting an engine as the alternative was a stand-off mounted turnigy 26S gas engine.
Olaf Pedersen
I changed my mind in the end and fitted the turnigy, saving the laser for a 1/4 scale cub I have to repair.
