Malcolm Thorley
Hi all,Can anyone give me some advice. I am just putting together my first low winger and while searching the interweb came across cirrus servos wich seem to offer great torque at a reasonable price. My question is are they compatable with my futaba 2.4 set up?Realise this is probably a really stupid question but isnt that what the forums for!!! Thanks for any advice in advanceMalcolm

Malcolm Thorley
Thanx TimboWhat about the connectors are they universal also?
Tim Mackey
usually. If they have little futaba style tongues on the side, slice em off with a sharp knife. Just ensure you plug in the correct way around. white / orange / yellow is usually signal and either black or brown is negative. Positive is, I think, red in all cases. ntsmith
Rather than slicing lugs off which reduces the value of the item - just in case you ever want to sell on - get some covertor leads. Available on eBay but not sure about model shops as they would just rather sell you another and probably more expensive item. The Futaba plugs are, I believe, slightly fatter so when fitting to a JR/Spektrum (cant speak for others( receiver, there is barely sufficient room. A convertor lead solvs this problem too.Theyre not daft these manufacturers.they want you to go buy their stuff and not their competitors. Doug Ireland
Hi Malcolm,Yes these Cirrus servos are good aren't they? I use them in my 27% CAP 232G and they have been faultless so far although a bit noisy. I recently converted to a JR DSX9 and have had no problems. Hope this boosts a bit of confidence for you. Doug.ps. the leads from the servos fit JR equipment without modification.
