Mark Barnes
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a carburetor for the OS 40LA engine. I have had a bit of a heavy landing (understatment!!) and snapped off the inlet nipple into the carb, which comes from the needle valve. I know the OS part no. fro the carb is OSMG2421. I dont think the snapped nipple is a replacable part as it seems to be glued in place not screwed. Will another carb fit? Can the nipple be replaced? Any help gladly received. Gary Wright
Have you tried Just Engines. I broke the needle valve on a O.S LA 46 and they were able to supply a new one - just the bit I wanted, they were really helpful. I went to their stand a show, but I am sure that you could just phone them. Do a Google search on Just Engines.Gary
