Tinkering time, twin pusher to EDF conversion

Recommended Posts

Have a Multiplex sonic liner that I converted to brushless. I have a hankering to strap on a pair of EDF using the set up available from various A10 warthog models ranging from 50-80mm. Probably 50 -64mm will do, havent looked at spec of any yet. The rear fuzz is perfect for some foam bashing and just bond in the edf unit

Main question is thrust line, keep at the same angle etc as the oem set up or do I need to change this.

Just had a quick read, One suggestion is that the centre of the edf should be at 90deg to the CG. That would be quite a bit of down thrust. Others suggest setting it at 0 deg. I can see that ) may cause  a dive.  I guess they should be mounted  as close as possible to the fuzz to reduce the angle.

Expert advice more than welcome
