Or 3.97 mm is 5/32 inch. Close enough.
I live in France, and I’m surprised, when I buy wood it’s often described as a metric size, when the cutter used  an imperial machine it’s the nearest imperial equivalent.. ditto, vice versa when the cutter uses a metric machine to Imperial.. Reasion I suspect, they set the cutter to an exact size on the dial, and it stays the same, batch to batch 

Last time I bought a Chris Wott kit, the plans were metric, all the wood was Imperial.
