David Stembridge
I am just finishing my first model a tutor 40. The instruction say i should wrap the RX and batterys in offcuts of foam. Is this OK it seems a bit Heath Robinson to me! I have seenan advert for a protective box to house the reciever, but can not remember where I saw it. Any comments or advice would be great. Thanks Dave
winchweight
Foam off cuts wrapped in elastic bands are fine. It's what 99% of maodels have inside them.

Patrick Adams
You can buy foam tube from your model shop for this purpose, however it can be pricey.Use foam or a car wash sponge cut to size and lacky bands.

Michael Dearden
If you haven't got any foam, bubble-wrap works just as well!
Chris Collins
Don't forget to put the receiver (and the foam surrounding it) inside a plastic bag, I use sandwich bags myself, to protect it if any fuel leaks.
