I have just had my 2nd lesson and 6th flight. Despite the best efforts of my instructor I pranged it. The wing is a write off but every thing else seems to have survived. Can I buy a wing or should I buy a complete kit?

always disheartening when this happens, your instructor prob feels as gutted as you, when im teaching someone i always tell the pupil keep it two mistakes high, give me time to catch it, whenever i have lost one its always been on landing trainig, low passes down the runway,
wings are probably available but would probably cost as much as a new kit, taking into account the packing and postage, the advantage of a new kit would be at little extra cost,, all the spare parts that would be left over from the old trainer,

Personally I would get a new kit and keep the fuselage as a spare. That way, if the worst happens, you'll have a spare fuselage to get you flying again quickly.

This is assuming that the price of the wing is close to the price of the whole kit.
