Simon B
I'm having a bit of a headache. I've managed to do all the wiring, fitted the nose covering etc, but i'm utterly baffled as to how to attach the cockpit cover. It needs to be removable, but i'm not sure how to best do it. Any tips? JC
Hi Ive built one of these and the canopy is held in place by the wing retaining rubber bands. When trimming the canopy you should have left an extension either side of the canopy so the bands can clamp the canopy down on to the wing and also the hatch cover. If you have not done this no probs just cross the retaining bands over the top of the canopy in the traditional fashion. And as Eric says dont use the method of securing the battery mentioned in the plan but remove the sloping sheets(F16 and F15) and velcro the flight pack to the fuz floor. best of luck Jon Edited By Jon Curl on 19/04/2009 20:03:39Edited By Jon Curl on 19/04/2009 20:04:
